Audio Storytelling

I work on interview and non-fiction narrative podcasts that are built on immersive storytelling and candid conversations. I gravitate towards projects that address workplace culture, creativity in the workplace, disability justice, design, and entrepreneurship. I love that audio storytelling is such a dynamic and intimate medium for exploring nuanced and complex experiences and perspectives. I’m committed to creating spaces that are comfortable, playful, and intentional for my collaborators.

Pre- & Post-Production

I create and manage production timelines, research and schedule interviews. Post-production, I create webpages, show notes, and social media content. My expertise includes creating and executing audience growth and press outreach strategies for target audiences.

Story Editing

My story editing work includes editorial support, crafting interview questions, and script writing to build stories that are more compelling, impactful, and enjoyable for listeners.

Editing and Sound Design

I edit and mix audio in Adobe Audition. My audio editing work includes cutting tape, edits for clarity and content, transcription, adding music, and light sound design. For a more complete selection of my work, click here.

Show Development

I help clients take an idea all the way from concept through production. I lead visioning sessions to determine best format, theme and premise. I get a show up and running while always keeping in mind the client’s objective of creating engaging, entertaining content.

Some Samples

This story was one of my favorites to help tell with Jay Acunzo on Unthinkable. It’s about a ridiculous (seeming) minor league baseball team with a seriously large following, an owner who only wears a yellow suit, and the “Banana Nanas.”

I wrote, edited and produced this new podcast for Bamboo HR, all about bringing the employee experience to light through personal stories and conversations with workplace experts. This first episode really sets the stage for what a positive workplace experience can actually feel like.

This episode I story edited for Clever was such an inspiring, fun listen. Maria’s energy jumps out at you and pulls you in from the very beginning of her conversation with host Amy Devers.
